One way or the other, the government of the Republic of Ghana is being pressured by the current American government to accept and legalize LGbTQ+.
Now, to our cherished readers who do not know what LGBTQ+ stands for, Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Questioning. it simply means Same-sex marriage in other words, a man marrying a man, a woman marrying a woman and a human being getting married to an animal and so on.
As it stands, Ghanaian Parliament is wasting time on this LGBTQ+ debating as to whether this act of madness is allowed in the nation or not.
In this write-up, I wish to share my ideas on why this nonsensical act shouldn’t be entertained in our country.
I will first start my point by letting you all know that the United States Of America as a nation has 52 states and out of these states, Twenty Seven (27) haven’t permitted the act so why should they put pressure on Ghana to accept this?
Again, Ghana is a religious country with her citizens mostly Christians, Muslims and the Traditional Believers. Values and norms of these religious groups do not permit such an act to be practised in the country because what we do and say in public matters to us.
Ghana has come way too far to allow ourselves to be swayed by any form of strong wind blowing from the west.
If our forefathers fought against neocolonialism and imperialism why can’t our current leaders stand against these oppressors’ rules.
Without wasting much of your time, I will end my words by letting our leaders know that Ghanaians can stand against any form of pressure and so they should let these western winds know that Ghanaians are capable of managing our Ghanaian affairs. We are okay with what we have.
Each time I see human beings born into this world talking in favour of LGBT and at likes, I feel pity for them.
Anyway, let me leave a space for your comments in the section below.
