The 2020 Parliamentary and Presidential Elections is currently on going across the 275 Constituencies and all the 16 Regions of the Republic of Ghana.
Countless number of Ghanaians queued at many of the polling stations across the length and breadth of Ghana as early as 8pm yesterday, 6th December 2020 ahead of today’s elections.
At exactly 7am this morning, voting commenced all over the country with the exception of few areas that voting started a bit late. Overrall about 17million Ghanaians are expected to cast their ballot to elect a President for our beautiful country for the next four years and also elect 275 Parliamentarians.
The President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has just casted his vote in his hometown at Kyebi as one of the first major high profile persons in this years elections to cast his vote.
It is 5pm in the evening here in Ghana and voting has ended across all 275 constituencies in Ghana apart from those who were in the queue before 5pm. Counting is about to begin.
