As everybody knows by now,Ghana goes to the polls yet again in the Fourth Republic to vote to elect a a President for the Republic of Ghana and 275 Parliamentarians to govern this country for the next four years.
Five days to elections and the Electoral Commission of Ghana, headed by Mrs. Jane Mensah has held a meeting together with all Political Parties in Ghana and have come to a conclusion that 7th December,2020 should be made a public holiday.
The Commission together with Political Parties and other interested entities came to this conclusion to give all registered and eligible voters the unflinching right to exercise their franchise without any hindrance.
In a Press Statement released by the Electoral Commission of Ghana, they stated that the outcome of the meeting has been communicated to the office of the Chief of Staff and the Interior Ministry for the necessary action to be taken.
