Yesterday,the first special Prosecutor of the office of the Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu resigned from his post.
He sent his resignation letter to the office of the President and also released a letter to the general public announcing and detailing why he’s resigned from office.
Today,the office of the President through the Chief of Staff Mrs. Frema Osei Opare and the President’s spoke person Eugene Arhin issued a statement acknowledging receipt of Martin Amidu’s resignation as the Special Prosecutor and promised to respond accordingly.
Tonight the President has issued a press statement through his Secretary, Nana Asante Bediatuo responding to the numerous allegations levelled against the Presidency of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
