The office of the former president, Jerry John Rawlings has made an announcement to the general public that the family of the late ex-president will be receiving anyone who wish to call on the family and pay their tribute by pre-arranged appointments.
Ghanaians from all walks of life who wish to pay their tribute are encouraged to visit the Ghana International Conference Centre to sign the book of condolence.
Also, individuals and organizations are urged to make appointments by calling 0264444464.
The office therefore informs all groups and organizations who secure appointments that visitors with appointments who arrive at the ex-president’s office without nose masks will not be allowed access, due to COVID-19 protocols.
The office has also notified the general public that there will be no one week observation, therefore all flyers and communication announcing such a ceremony are false and should not be given any attention.
The general public is again informed that Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings is well and has not been admitted to any hospital. She was present when President Akuffo-Addo and former president Mahama called on the family on Friday, November 13.
