The President of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is currently making his 19th address on measures his government has taken to tackle the spread of Covid19.
The president has said that all health workers will not pay income tax till the end of the year.
He has also stated that all Frontline workers will continue to receive an additional 50% package of incentive to their basic salary to energize them to combat the virus on behalf of Ghanains.
The President has also reiterated that severe punishment will be meted out to anyone who breach the Covid 19 protocols.
He said that over the last two weeks our Covid 19 cases has surged high from the less than 400 to over 1,000.
