The Committee formed by the Education Minister,Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh to advise government on reopening of schools has completed its work.
The Committee led by Prof. Dominic Fobih has presented its final report after weeks of working on the plan to the Ministry for Education.
It is expected that the report will be presented to the President in the coming days ahead of extensive stakeholder engagement on the rollout of the decision by the President.
On August 20, 2020, the Minister of Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, inaugurated a committee, chaired by Prof. Dominic Fobih, a former Minister of Education and the Chairman of the GET Fund Board of Trustees, to advise on the reopening of pre-tertiary schools for the 2020/21 academic year.
