President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo declared 2020 as the year of roads long before Covid19 showed it’s ugly face in Ghana and was declared a pandemic world wide.
Even in the face of Covid19 and the dangers it poses to all people in the world, the President and his government has found ways and means to fix several roads across the length and breadth of the country.
But it seems the President has a lot of work to do with regards to road as people especially in his strong hold of Kumasi are wailing and clamouring for more of their roads to be fixed.
Residents of Apire a Suburb of Santasi in the Ashanti Region has held a mammoth demonstration against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his government and has urged him as a matter of urgency to come and fix their dilapidated roads else they won’t vote in this year’s election which will cause his downfall. The women in the area wailed during the demonstration that because of the poor nature of the roads their husbands are not able to sleep or make love to them because of waist pains.
