A resident of Awutu Kwao has sustained gunshot wounds whilst several others have been left injured after land guards took over Awutu Kwao Bondzie, a village close to Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana.
These hoodlums and thugs, riding on motorbikes and numbering about 10, allegedly stormed the chief’s palace and started firing gunshots scaring everybody at the palace.
An eyewitness reports that, when the chief of the town took to his heels, the group unleashed their anger on residents of the palace and unleashed mayhem on them beforeto setting off to the house of the Asafoatse of the land.
At the home of Francis Quarshie, a similar treatment was meted out to him and his family. It is not known why these guys are doing what they are doing.
