A day after the 21st edition of the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards VGMA, pictures of Sarkodie and other personalities went viral on social media that they have received a United Nations (UN) Award.
The Award ceremony christened The 7th Global Leadership Service To Humanity Award in honor of former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and spearheaded by one Dr. Fordjour.
Immediately after the pictures and videos of the event went viral, Social Media started digging and it came into fruition that the Award was a scam perpetuated by con artiste Dr Fordjour who has been on the radar of the police for a very long time. It also emerged that Dr. Fordjour has no link whatsoever with the UN and has through this scam made a fool out of many top Ghanaian Personalities.
