The Youth of this country (Ghana) are beginning to understand, analyze and appreciate the level of contemporary politics nowadays. Day in and day out, youth across the Cardinals of the globe expressed their contemplations and sing the same tune concerning development and policies used to govern a nation.
Expatiating development from policy, one can testify that, the two move on the same plane or paradigm. Meaning, without policy there will be no effective development. From a layman’s point of view, they intertwine or overlap each other embedded with democracy. Democracy is when views are being shared to steer the direction or the affairs of which a country, society, nation, and community is governed and embrace facilities such as roads, schools, water and sanitation alongside, creation of jobs for the benefit of a country.
Abraham Lincoln once defined democracy as “government of the people by the people, and for the people.” Did we experience this under the Regime, a past president, and a political party whose, intention is to come back to power to mess the economy up? A president who states emphatically that, he will not listen to anybody but his own ideas whether good or bad.
The fascinating aspect of the whole thing is that Ghana yesterday, encountered hardship and still struggling to wake up as far as development is concern. This is arrogated to the negligence and mismanagement of a previous NDC government led by John Dramani Mahama and his babies with sharp teeth, through loot and share.
A situation whereby few people within the party out of their own perusal mobilized resources that could solve energy issue Dumso which almost swallow the country up and affected factories and industries from its operation, and nearly collapsed. Resources that could be used to create enough jobs to alleviate graduates especially the youths from severe poverty was used to purchase Guinea fowls that flown to Burkina Faso with no direct benefit of the people, and later came back to inform the public that, due to IMF conditionality, they couldn’t recruit leaving a bunch of visionary graduates who have requisite skills to serve country in their abode to go astray.
Resources that could be used construct roads and build schools for posterity was used to fly their side chicks abroad, bought mansions and flashy cars because they think the Adam between their labs are longer than any man here in Ghana, causing the country into severe hardship affecting the youths of this country. Now he is fighting for a come back! Hmm!
Concern Nabco trainees are highly flabbergasted, as to why John Dramani Mahama having done all this mess still going round the country preaching jobs to the youths, especially to maintain trainees. Was he not the same person who cancelled teacher, nursing trainee allowance?. And also said free education was not feasible?
To crown everything, we want to state categorically that, Mahama should give as a break because we tired of those mere promises and hallucinations he is making. Ghanaians are now experiencing good governance under NPP government led by H E Nana Addo Danquah and his Veep Dr. Alhaji Bawumia. A government that believes in equal distribution of national cake. When we look up to the skies, free education is here, Nabco is there, 1D1F, 1D1W is at the corner. Even if nothing at all restorations of those cancelled allowances have brought hope to the youths, and also relieved parents from stress. We still wondering Mahama and NDC government with this pandemic situation. Ghanaians are now experiencing good government under NPP so, he shouldn’t throw sand into our gari.
