The former President and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has thrown a challenge to President Akuffo-Addo for a debate on the records concerning infrastructural projects of their respective governments.
The challenge comes days after Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia stated that, the Akuffo-Addo led government has constructed more infrastructural projects in less than four years than the Mahama led government did in their eight years in power.
In his address to the residents of the Ketu-South District in the Volta Region as part of his four-day tour of the Region, Mr. Mahama said, a debate will conclude the matter.
We can settle it easily. Let’s have a debate between the two of us, the two Presidents. Let Nana Akuffo-Addo come and sit down, let me sit down and let’s debate our records. I am willing to present myself for a debate, anyday, anytime, anywhere and we will settle the matter once and for all.he said.
The Presidency is yet to respond to this challenge but Ghanaians are hopeful for a positive outcome. This debate will be one all will like to witness.
