Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, has just become a centibillionaire. This news comes after his net worth crossed the $100 billion line two days after the launch of Instagram’s Reels which is set to take on Tik Tok, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. The launch saw Facebook’s stocks rising by 12% on Thursday and Friday.
Mark Zuckerberg now joins Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, and Microsoft founder, Bill Gates, in the ‘Centibillionaires Club’, which also makes him the youngest person to do so.
Zuckerberg co-founded Facebook from his Harvard dorm room in 2004, his biggest asset still being his 13% stake in the company. In 2007, he became the world’s youngest self-made billionaire at the age of 23. Zuckerberg has now become the world’s third and youngest centibillionaire.
So far, only three people have crossed this milestone. The Facebook CEO is indeed raking it in.
