Yesterday, the Ghana Education Service GES, and the West African Examination Council WAEC, dismissed fourteen students from their various schools and barred all of them from taking part in the remainder of the ongoing WASSCE.
This decision came after students of various secondary schools went on a rampage, demonstrating and destroying school properties and unleashing mayhem on WASSCE invigilators and supervisors because they claim they are being overly strict in their invigilating of the examination.
The examination body and the Ghana Education Sevice after reviewing the incidents came up with the conclusion that 14 students who were at the forefront of these whole brouhahas should be dismissed from their various schools and be barred from this year’s exams.
The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, according to Socia Media, has shown clemency on these kids and have tampered Justice with Mercy as he has ordered the Ghana Education Service and WAEC to as a matter of urgency recall all these fourteen children and allow them to write their exams so that their future will not be jeopardized.
