For the umpteenth time Former President John Dramani Mahama has had cause to comment and make clarifications about his stance on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s flagship Policy Free SHS.
Believe it or not, this years Presidential Election will be fought on one main thing, and thus education. This is so because for the First time in the history of Ghana,1.2 million Ghanaian children are beneficiaries of Senior High School education for free.
Prior to the 2016 Elections, whilst President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo was busily campaigning with Free SHS the NDC was doing series of adverts debunking and undermining the importance and significance of that Policy. They made fun of it,some casted aspersions on it and many others claimed it was impossible as at that time and Ghana can only provide Secondary School Education for free, only in the next 20 years.
This evening, Former President John Dramani Mahama has been forced yet again to make his stance clear on the Free Senior High School Policy. He Tweeted that the policy has come to stay so therefore he has no intention or intentions to cancel it when he’s voted for as President again. He says he’s only appalled by how it’s been implemented and when elected he’ll do better
