The President of the Republic. His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo on Monday, August 3, 2020 registered for his voters identification card at the Rock of Ages voters registration center in the Eastern Region.
The President was there with his wife, the First Lady of the Republic, Rebecca Akuffo-Addo, who also registered at the same polling center. The President followed all the safety protocols at the center and urged all Ghanaians who haven’t registered to do so, so they can vote on December 7, to avoid someone electing a President for them.
“You need to register to participate in choosing the government of your choice. what will be sad is to sit in the house and then other people make a decision for you.”
“It is a simple process and it’s not complicated. In 2016, I asked the people of Ghana to give me a chance and see what I can do, and they gave me the chance, so it’s now for them to decide on how they see my performance.”
The President later thanked the EC for the good job been done.
