President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, yesterday, was in the capital city of the Ashanti Kingdom, the Garden City, Kumasi. The President came for the appointment and inauguration of the first female Vice-Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST)
After the inaugration and investiture of the good old Professor as the first Vice Chancellor of KNUST, the President made a gallant entry into the studios of Wontumi television and Radio for a live one on one interview and discussion on the current state of the Republic of Ghana, since he assumed the high office of President for the past 3 and half years.
The President answered questions on the economy, his social intervention programs that he and his government has rolled out, his vision for Ghana for the next four years when he is re-elected as President again amongst other very interesting things happening in and around the country.
The conversation got very interesting when the host of the Show,Oheneba Asiedu, asked the President what his view is, about the constant criticism and backlash he receives from former President John Dramani Mahama and his NDC, the President opined and explained that President Mahama presided over the worst economic performance in the history of Ghana so he is not a standard when it comes to governance, therefore he cannot pay heed to his criticisms. Indeed no one will take moral lessons from the Brothel, exactly what the President meant in his pronouncement.
