Prince David Osei, a Ghanaian movie actor and a philanthropist has said that, bringing former president Mahama as the presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is an insult to the party and the country at large.
He said this in an interview with ZionFelix during the ‘Perfect TV App’ Lunch in Accra.
“If NDC had come up with a different candidate, let say Alban Gbagbin or Spio Gabriel or any of these people, I personally would have routed for him. But this is the situation whereby Ex-president Mahama has become president, he’s finished his tenure and he’s coming back and it beats my mind. So the whole of Ghana and NDC, there’s nobody to stand apart from him? No eligible, no efficient leader?” He added.
In his view, the NDC could have done better than chosing former president Mahama as their flag bearer for the 2020 polls.
