Ghana is indeed a beautiful place with a dynamic and beautiful culture. Funerals are one of the ways the people of Ghana exhibit their culture.
Funerals in Ghana are completely different as compared to that of the Western lands. In Ghana, one who never saw the dead when alive could easily tell how he or she lived his or her life, customized flashy caskets could easily tell you the person was well to do or extremely rich while other caskets of less quality to the poor.
Funerals in Ghana has taken a different turn as caskets are designed on the kind of life a person lived. One could easily see some designs like Bible, Hammer, Cars among others which will simply tell you who the person was when he or she was alive.
But it came as a shock to people when they saw a woman been buried in a coffin which was designed in the shape of the male genital. Many have expressed missed reactions as to how the family could bury her in the pen*s shaped coffin.
