One person has lost the battle to coronavirus in Ghana as the deaths rise to 145.
Record of the latest casualty was contained in the latest case count released by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Saturday, July 18.
The new fatality follows five others announced in the last update given on Friday, July 17.
The were 488 new cases recorded, bringing the total cumulative number of cases to 27,060.
Out of this number, 23,044 have either recovered or been discharged, leaving 3,871 cases under care and management.
These active cases are being managed at various health facilities across the country with some being managed at home of the patients.
But 8 are said to be in critical conditions while 25 are in severe conditions with 4 on ventilators.
